"IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT BIKES AND PEDALS: IT'S ABOUT PEOPLE"
LOOK is not just about carbon fiber know-how and the constant pursuit of performance. It is above all a story, written by passionate men and women striving to deliver the very best of their craft.
Behind every LOOK product is the meticulous work and passionate implication of a whole workforce. We invite you to meet the people working behind the scenes in our production teams. For it is their know-how, expertise and passion that make LOOK the exceptional brand we are today.
We asked them three questions to learn a little more about their daily activities within our factories, and what working for LOOK means to them:
"I'm a factory worker. My job is varied: sometimes I work on the composite materials, at other times I'm on the pedal assembly line. It really depends on the workload."
"I really enjoyed the time, back in 2015, when we began building bikes again. I worked at the end of the production line, packing the bikes. I was really proud to be part of the team that relaunched the bike production."
"LOOK is a luxury brand."
"I'm a forklift operator. I supply the pedal workshop with all the necessary parts to assemble the pedals. I'm also in charge of managing shipments with our factory in Tunisia, and am the contact person for our logistics partners."
"I will never forget my first meeting with Laurent Jalabert. I also loved the time when the "LA LOOK" cyclosportive was held every year. I have very fond memories of the first time I crossed the finish line."
"I consider LOOK a premium brand, and I am proud to be part of the brand's story. I also really enjoy riding such beautiful bikes!"
"I spent the first 8 years of my career manufacturing ski bindings on the Pic site. I then worked on the Max One project for a couple of years: it was a power sensor, a revolution at the time. After that, I worked in the QA department for 4 years and now I'm in a team that crafts pedals. I do packaging, marking and Exakt pedals."
"I remember going to watch the Paris-Nice stages in the 90s: the finish line was at the Nevers town hall. The next morning, the start was at the Pic (the old LOOK factory). »
"For me, LOOK represents a strong brand image and excellent reliability."
"I'm an industrial technician. I mould carbon fiber parts, mainly in the product development phase."
"In 2001, my team was responsible for manufacturing all the bikes of the French National Track Team. That year, the team - which included Arnaud Tournant & Florian Rousseau - won 7 medals, 4 of which were gold. France was crowned the best nation in the world. That remains an incredible memory. »
"For me, LOOK is a premium bike brand."
"I started in the company as a decorator and for the last year, I have been assembling pedals."
"I have very good memories of meeting my colleagues when I first started at LOOK. There was a great working atmosphere. I also met some really great people over the years. I am really passionate about my job."
"The products are beautiful, exceptional even. It's a classic brand, and I hope to be able to be part of the adventure for a long time to come."
"I'm a stock handler in the warehouse. I supply the pedal assembly lines, but I also work in maintenance every now and then."
"I have great memories of the T20 launch, with a beautiful show and the presence of champions such as Mathilde Gros and Grégory Baugé. »
"LOOK stands for performance and design. We build rockets."
"I started out painting the frames for the first 10 years. For the next 5, I was a storekeeper for the bike assembly department, and now I'm a operative on the bike and pedal assembly lines. I also moulded carbon fiber parts. »
"I've always enjoyed the team spirit with my colleagues."
"LOOK is a high-end brand, the "Ferrari" of bicycles. It is also a company with a strong family spirit."
