LOOK, a Manufacturer Committed to Women's Cycling

As part of the Vivre vélo au féminin program led by the French Cycling Federation (FFC) to promote and develop women's cycling in the territories, thirty women had the opportunity to ride the last kilometers of the 2021 Tour de France finish on the Champs Élysées on Sunday, July 19. As a partner of the FFC, LOOK is proud to have provided a bike to each participant.

From Mathilde Gros in track cycling to Loana Lecomte in cross-country MTB, LOOK supports the most promising female cyclists in France and sees its commitment materialize in Tokyo this summer.

Mathilde Gros

The Rising Star of the Track

Last January, Mathilde Gros and two other members of the French track cycling team went to Nevers, in the center of France, where LOOK is established since 1951, to discover the bike they would ride in Tokyo this summer: the T20, the result of French innovation and know-how that are part of the LOOK DNA. At 21, the two-time European champion and four-time French champion in keirin and three-time French champion in sprint will participate in her first Games where she will aim for gold in keirin and individual sprint on August 5 and 8.

The Cross-Country Nugget

In cross-country MTB, LOOK accompanies the unstoppable Loana Lecomte with the X-TRACK RACE CARBON TI pedals. After winning the first round of the World Cup in which she participated in October 2020, the reigning U23 World Champion confirmed this season: at the age of 21, she has just won the first four rounds of the Elite World Cup and finished 6th in her first Games on July 27!

Inspiring Vocations

Since Atlanta in 1996, LOOK athletes have won 43 medals, including 14 titles. All eyes are now on Tokyo and on these two stars of French cycling. By accompanying these two women in their quest for performance, we hope to inspire vocations and contribute to the development of high-level cycling among women.
