The geometry of the mechanism is designed for easy engagement in all conditions, evacuating any elements which may get in the way such as mud or sand. The titanium body offers a 515 mm² contact area, while the titanium axle ensures the pedal is stiff and light: a mere 145 grams underfoot.

Optimized Mud Shedding

The compact X-Track design and the open space between the body and mechanism promote fast mud evacuation. Result: more reliable engagement in wet conditions and consistent function when the terrain gets clogged.

Proven Spindle Line

The X-Track spindle line combines premium components: an internal metal bushing and two sealed bearings side by side for rock-solid durability. Sealing relies on a dual system—an O-ring at the end cap and a labyrinth seal between spindle and body—to keep out water and dust.

Test-Validated Durability

To ensure real-world reliability, the X-Track exceeds current ISO requirements through a comprehensive protocol of more than 15 tests. Fatigue, repeated impacts, UV exposure, salt-spray: each scenario replicates intensive use. Each pedal runs for weeks on test rigs under a 90 kg load, then completes tens of thousands of engagement/release cycles. The result: proven robustness, built to last.

The tension adjustment on the mechanism lets you fine-tune foot retention to match your riding style. From a lighter setting to a firmer feel (6 to 14), you clip in/out quickly and in a controlled way—even in the most demanding situations.
