WORLD CYCLING CENTRE

Partner of the World Cycling Centre since 2002

The World Cycling Centre (WCC) houses the headquarters of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). In addition to being a high-level training facility it is also a center for the promotion, development, education and governing of cycling.

Opened in 2002, every year it welcomes a large number of athletes from around the world who devote all their energy to their athletic career. The WCC forms and develops 100 athletes annually in three Olympic disciplines (road, track and BMX).

LOOK makes nearly 40 track bikes available, CR564Ps and AL 464Ps, as well as R96s, the Formula 1 of the track. These bicycles are intended to be used by athletes as part of their daily training.

Frédéric MAGNE

WCC Director and UCI

Development Director

« The partnership between the WCC and LOOK started as of its opening in Aigle in 2002. LOOK has accompanied, sponsored and supported us for 15 years now and this collaboration has helped athletes who have trained at the WCC meet their goals and achieve their dreams of one day winning the Tour de France or becoming a World or Olympic Champion. Thanks to LOOK’s support, some of these dreams have become reality. Without the generosity of LOOK, all of our athletes from around the world, would never have been able to achieve their goals.

LOOK has not only supported our athletes at the WCC but also all of our solidarity campaigns through the « Bike for the World” program which has made sending more than 100 bicycles per year to developing countries possible.

Since the beginning of its partnership, LOOK has been a driving force in our success and understands the importance of developing cycling on every continent. »
