Technologies

 

• HM CARBON FRAME

The utilization of high modulus carbon fiber allow the creation of light yet rigid frames allowing 
the frame to be efficient without being uncomfortable. The use of carbon in the MTB world
relaunches the use of rigid or semi-rigid frames without the weight gain.
 

• MIX MONOCOQUE /TTT CONCEPT

For added strength and lightness, the front triangle is a half-piece. To increase the frame strength a reinforcing gusset 
is integrated under the head tube. This gusset also allows clearance of the fork is compatible with most new
forks. On the rear of the frame, seat and chainstays are connected to the front triangle using 3D technology. Tube
To Tube. This technology creates an efficient and light connection with the seat tube. Mechanically, the 
assembly of different parts is very strong and durable.
 

• E POST ‘’REVERSE 5’’ WITH ADUSTABLE DAMPING

E Post is a monocoque design that integrates the seatpost. This not only improves the aesthetic appearance of the bicycle, 
but also its performance. Effectively the seatpost is isolated from shock and vibrations by three elastomers. 
These elastomers dampen frame vibrations and permit the seatpost to flex towards the read improving the comfort of the cyclist. 
The seatpost offers +/- 5mm of adjustment in relation to the axis of the seat tube. The seatpost is reversible due to the saddle clamp 
having 360º orientation. Three different hardnesses of elastomers are supplied with the seatpost so the rider may adjust the damping to his needs and comfort.
 

• SEAT AND CHAINSTAYS DCSC DUAL COMFORT-STIFFNESS CONCEPT

By flattening the tops and bottoms of these tubes, there are two advantages, improved flexibility on the vertical plane (improved comfort and efficiency) while increasing the lateral rigidity and better pedaling efficiency. 
 

• GEOMETRY

The geometry of the bicycle was conceived considering the latest generation of suspension forks with between 80 and 100 mm of travel.
The steerer tube angle of 71.2º offers a perfect compromise between handling and stability. The seat tube angle
is relatively relaxed because the frame has been designed for the E POST "Reverse 5."
 

• BB30 BOTTOM BRACKET (available only on the 986 white black)

The white-black 986 frame offers a BB30 bottom bracket which reduces weight and improves energy transfer
on the already exceptional 986. Additionally the BB30 standard offers use of many high-end  low Q-Factor double or triple cranksets
designed specifically for the BB30.
 

• NANO METAL PROTECTION

The down tube is reinforced with nano-metal particles which reinforce the tube against impacts by up to 60% without and weight penalty.
