The E-post permits an additional 3cm of height adjustment.

 

It is supplied with three elastomers of different hardnesses: soft, medium, or hard to adapt to any cycling situation.

Technologies

• 30mm of vertical adjustment

The seatpost can be adjusted 30 mm. IE -15 to -45 mm relative to the axis of seat tube. It is not reversible.
The height adjustment is is carried-out with a titanium bolt that holds the saddle in the cradle.

• Vibration absorption

The seatpost is entirely isolated from small shocks and road vibration by three elastomers.
Two are internal and fix the seatpost in position by expanding with the action
of a fixing bolt. Max tension is 5Nm.
This is a much better seatpost fixing solution for a carbon frame compared to the classic style of clamping the seatpost using a collar at the top of a seat-tube that must be tightened up to 20 Nm to fix the seatpost.
The third elastomer is positioned between the frame and the seatpost and creates a 9mm thick shock damper.

• Anti-rotation and anti slip.

Due to the fixing system and the shape of the seatpost, it is not possible for the seatpost to slip in the frame
nor require adjustment to align the saddle due to the self-centering shape of the seatpost.

• Comfort

The seatpost elastomers filter vibration and permit the seatpost to slightly flex towards the rear of the bicycle which improves rider comfort. With the softest grey elastomer you'll have the same comfort of ride as an ERGOPOST 4 extended to the maximum height. More deformation equals more comfort.
By using the different elastomers you can increase or decrease the vibration damping attributes of the frame.
