Winner of the Tour of Italy, Alberto Contador only finished 5th in the Tour de France. However the Slovak Peter Sagan shone this season in the Russian team. He donned the green jersey in the Tour de France and won the UCI Road World Championships at Richmond in Virginia. The Bretagne Séché Environnement team is changing its sponsor and becoming Fortuneo Vital Concept. The team, who notably ride the 795 Light, are aiming for the best places on the grand tours and classics in this 2016 season. Moreover the year started very well with the victory of Eduardo Sepulveda in the 4th stage of the Tour of San Luis, the 2nd place in the general classification and best climber. After proving herself on the ITU circuit between 2006 and 2013, she succeeded in moving to the long circuit and notably won the Pescara 70.3 in Italy.
