Cofidis
COFIDIS
Cofidis has been revealed as one of the most promising French teams over these last few years.
2011 was once more crowned by good performances. David Moncoutié had a victory in the Mediterranean Tour, his 4th consecutive Best Climber jersey in Spain's Vuelta. Estonian Time-trial Champion Rein Taraamae took out the Best Young Rider jersey in the Paris-Nice. And Tony Gallopin won the Flèche d'Emeraude at season beginning, and the PMU Coupe de France in October.
Rein Taaramae will be team leader in 2012. First objective: podium place in the Paris-Nice. Several riders will be helping him, including Rémy di Grégorio who has just re-joined Cofidis, and David Moncoutié who will focus on the Spanish challenges.
Cofidis will go again this year with LOOK's top-of-the-range 695 SR frame featuring several global innovations, and with the all-new Kéo Power system. Cofidis will continue to use the 596 for time-trials. They will also be using the Kéo Blade Aéro pedal system exclusively designed for time-trial competition.
