Cofidis has been revealed as one of the most promising French teams over these last few years.2011 was once more crowned by good performances. David Moncoutié had a victory in the Mediterranean Tour, his 4th consecutive Best Climber jersey in Spain's Vuelta. Estonian Time-trial Champion Rein Taraamae took out the Best Young Rider jersey in the Paris-Nice. And Tony Gallopin won the Flèche d'Emeraude at season beginning, and the PMU Coupe de France in October.Rein Taaramae will be team leader in 2012. First objective: podium place in the Paris-Nice. Several riders will be helping him, including Rémy di Grégorio who has just re-joined Cofidis, and David Moncoutié who will focus on the Spanish challenges.Cofidis will go again this year with LOOK's top-of-the-range 695 SR frame featuring several global innovations, and with the all-new Kéo Power system.  Cofidis will continue to use the 596 for time-trials. Initiated to the practice of triathlons at the age of 16 by his brother, Sylvain Sudrie shows talents and very quickly becomes in 1999 younger Champion of France. Since then he accumulated victories in France and abroad, and he became in 2010 the Long Distance World Champion. In 2011, he will try to pass on to an Ironman format, and his final objective is winning the Ironman World championship in Hawaii. Sylvain is with the Beauvais Triathlon Club. It is after having had her Masters in Physical education and Nutrition at the University of Copenhagen that Helle decides to devote itself at full time to the triathlon. From 12 to 18 years, she was part of the Danish national Swimming team, and took part in her first triathlon in 2004, which she won. François Chabaud has one of the longest lists of French awards on long distance triathlon. He began triathlon at the age of 15 following a television report on the Ironman of Hawaii. Trevor Delsaut, young student member of the club of La Rochelle Triathlon, started in cycling at the age of 13 and advanced rapidly up to junior. He turns towards triathlon after a passage to the Lagardère Club in Paris. He specialised in average and long distances and took part in 2007 in his first major competition where he accomplished a very good performance. In 2010, he took part in his 2nd Ironman of Hawaii and made a big hit: 22nd off scratch, 1st of his age group, and new amateur record of the event. The two objectives that the VENICE LOOK-BEAUMES team for the 2011 season have been achieved as follows: - The team was classified 5th overall in the Team French Trophy of 66 teams, and also had good individual results: Laura Charles took out the Coupe de France general classification, with two victories on the St Raphael and Super Besse rounds.
