• UD CARBON COMPOSITION 120 GRAMS / M²
The X-85 is a 100% carbon cyclo-cross frame of “Tube to Tube” technology assuring solidness and lightness (only 1150 grams in M size). It benefits of all of LOOK’s know-how in the composition of carbon frames since 25 years and notably in the orientation of rigidities. This technology allows differentiating lateral rigidity (+ 25%) from vertical rigidity so as to have a bike presenting both high performance and unequalled comfort.
• COMPATIBLE WITH SI DISC BRAKE ATTACHMENT
The X 85 is designed to receive disc brakes of 160 mm in diameter in direct attachment on the frame and the fork. Cable or hydraulic brakes can be mounted. So as to assure compatibility with a large number of wheels the axle spacing of the rear wheel is 135 mm. All 29” MTB wheels with disc hubs are thus compatible.
• FLEX BASES AND STAYS
The bases and stays are designed and have a carbon composition assuring the filtration of important vibrations. The top of the wishbone is designed to easily evacuate mud.
• 27.2 MM SEATPOST COMPATIBLE
The X 85 is compatible with all the 27.2 mm diameter seatposts on the market. The choice of this diameter was done for it allows the best seatpost flexion to guarantee excellent comfort.
