The specific machining of chain wheels is designed to be used with 10 and 11 speed chains.

•DESIGN AND RIGIDITIES ADAPTED TO ZED CHAIN DRIVES

The design of the large chain wheel is perfectly adapted to the star of the ZED chain drive. The design ensures excellent rigidity at the chain wheel so that no loss of energy is possible. It is for this reason that the chain wheel has 5 fins ensuring perfect cohesion between the gear teeth and the gear wheel’s attachment points.

• EXTRA LIGHTWEIGHT CHAIN WHEELS

In spite of their single-piece aspect and their large fins, the large chain wheel remains extremely lightweight (92 grs in 53 teeth). This is obtained through a CNC machining on the inner side of the fin forming like a skin that ensures rigidity without any additional weight.

• 4 STUDS HELP IN RAISING THE CHAIN

The large chain wheels have 4 studs that help the chain to rise to ensure quick and accurate speed changes.
