Interview :
What inspired you to start cycling?
My grandfather, the first races in Luxemboug where even the small classes are important. It was always great to win something, even a few euros.
What racer do you most admire?
Julien Absalon
What color was your first bicycle?
My first bicycle was pink and black with white rims that I inherited from my brother. On the road an aluminum bicycle I received at 11 years with shifting on the frame.
What studies or work do you do before you started cycling?
I am in my second year of a Law degree in Nancy.
What makes you happy in the morning?
Knowing that my family is in good health.
The best day ever on a bicycle?
Winning the big races, my first French National title, but I feel the best is yet to come!
The worst day on a bicycle?
I realize that I've never seriously injured myself seriously, so I've never truly had a bad day. The Worlds in Varèse were very difficult. I got off my bicycle to vomit, but I wouldn't quit.
What do you find the most difficult in cycling?
The hardest is to continue with your studies !
The greatest thing the bicycle has given you?
It brings me the daily feeling that I was born competitive.
What has the bicycle brought you that you might not have done in your life?
Simply, the bicycle has permitted me to travel.
The one thing you would like to change in cycling?
Rejuvenation, beginning with the basic premise that age is not a matter of years but of mindset. This could open large opportunities for cycling.
A good reason to like cycling in 2009?
The fact that 2008 has already brought 4 Olympic MTB and BMX medals.
