In the course of these last years, Cofidis has shown itself as one of the most promising French teams.The 2010 season was crowned by nice victories: Julien El Fares won early in the year the 4th stage of the Mediterranean Tour and Sebastian Minard the Paris-Camembert race. On the international level, Damien Monier won the 7th stage of the Italian Giro, Kalle Kriit, became Road Champion of Estonia and finally David Moncoutié became famous in the Vuelta by winning the 8th stage and the Jersey of the Best Climber for the 3rd consecutive year. In 2011 the northern team will welcome four neo-pros:Adrien Petit (BC Nogent-sur-Oise), Yoann Bagot (BC La Pomme), Nicolas Edet (Véranda Rideau Sarthe) and Florent Barle (BC Aix-en-Provence). The double Road Champion of Latvia and MTB ALEKSEJS SARAMOTINS (HTC TEAM – Columbia) also joined the team as well as the Time Trial Champion of France, Nicolas Vogondy (BBox). David Moncoutié, the Belgian Jens Keukeleir, the champion of Estonia, Kalle Kriit and his compatriot, Rein Taaramäe, remain the pillars of the team. Stephane Augé, with Cofidis since 2005, leaves the pack to become Team manager in 2011, together with Didier Rous, newly arrived from B-Box. The Cofidis team is invited to take part in Tour de France 2011 as well as in the Paris-Nice race. Cofidis will run this year on the latest LOOK bike, the 695 SR, that includes several worldwide innovations, and on the brand new Keo Power. 2010 was once again a very good season for the French Track team: 7 medals in World championships (2 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze), 19 medals in the European championship (9 Gold 4 Silver and 6 Bronze), and already 12 medals in the World Cup (4 Gold 5 Silver and 3 Silver). There is no doubt that, Grégory Baugé, Kevin Sireau, Mickaël d' Almeida, Clara Henriette, Sandie Clair and their team mates are again going to make us live great moments. Next appointments for 2011: the 4th round of the World Cup in Manchester in February, and the World championships in March.

Sylvain Sudrie

Initiated to the practice of triathlons at the age of 16 by his brother, Sylvain Sudrie shows talents and very quickly becomes in 1999 younger Champion of France. Since then he accumulated victories in France and abroad, and he became in 2010 the Long Distance World Champion. In 2011, he will try to pass on to an Ironman format, and his final objective is winning the Ironman World championship in Hawaii. Sylvain is with the Beauvais Triathlon Club. Helle Frederiksen

It is after having had her Masters in Physical education and Nutrition at the University of Copenhagen that Helle decides to devote itself at full time to the triathlon. From 12 to 18 years, she was part of the Danish national Swimming team, and took part in her first triathlon in 2004, which she won. François Chabaud has one of the longest lists of French awards on long distance triathlon. He began triathlon at the age of 15 following a television report on the Ironman of Hawaii. Attracted by this new sport, he decided to begin on short distances. It is only at the age of 25 that he can finally take part in major races that he dreamed about so much. Trevor Delsaut, young student member of the club of La Rochelle Triathlon, started in cycling at the age of 13 and advanced rapidly up to junior. He turns towards triathlon after a passage to the Lagardère Club in Paris. He specialised in average and long distances and took part in 2007 in his first major competition where he accomplished a very good performance. In 2010, he took part in his 2nd Ironman of Hawaii and made a big hit: 22nd off scratch, 1st of his age group, and new amateur record of the event. He passed professional in 2011; he will take part in his first French Championship LD and would like to finish Hawaii in the Top 15.
